Driving lessons and your VORT
Many learners want professional instruction before the Vehicle On Road Test. BYVO lets you book lesson time with accredited instructors alongside, or separately from, your VORT, depending on the packages and slots available in the calendar.
Lesson-only bookings
If you are not ready to book a VORT yet, you may be able to select a lesson-only package (where offered) to build skills with an instructor before you schedule your test.
Combined packages
Some packages include both structured lesson hours and the VORT. This can suit learners who want preparation time immediately before the test, with one coordinated booking flow.
Choosing an instructor and examiner

Official learning requirements
Supervised hours, log books, and eligibility for your P’s are governed by SA rules - not BYVO. Refer to SA Government - licences for official guidance.
