BYVO shows your full price before you pay. This page explains what goes into a typical booking so you know what to expect when you open the booking calendar.
What makes up your total?
Most bookings include:
- Examiner or instructor - for the booking duration selected
- Vehicle option - using your car or the examiner’s / instructor’s car (where offered) can change the fee.
- Lesson hours - if you select a package that includes driving lessons, time is charged according to the instructor’s hourly rate and duration.
- Package discounts - some bundles include a discount off the combined total.
- After-hours - surcharges may apply for some slots; if they do, they are included in the price shown for that slot.
- Locations - surcharges may apply for some locations, in particular regional locations; if they do, they are included in the price shown for that slot.
Government fees
VORT fee included in your booking. Always check SA Government - licences for current official charges and additional fees.
